Have you ever read anything that made you stop in your tracks and think? I have. I was reading a book in which the main character was really fed up with their life, so said - " in this life you don't do what you want to do - you do what you have to do and just pretend its what you want to do". WOW!
I read this sentance over and over again because it was as if it had been written about me. I wasn't doing what I wanted to do - I was working to fulfil someone else's dream and to help them reach their goals in life. I was doing what I had to do - work to pay the bills and put food on the table - and, worst of all, I was pretending - to everyone else, but not to myself - that I was happy doing what I was doing and that this was all I wanted out of life.
It was time to change, to set my own goals in life and to set out in a new direction. But how?
Luckily I was invited to take a look at the business and try the products. I was very sceptical at first - how could a successful business be based around a plant that made you feel better? But with a lot more information, I began to realise that this could work for me - and so I began my journey.
Now, I am doing what I want to do - not because I have to - but because I want to - with no pretending!
